In a November 3, 2015 interview on CUNY TV: Science & U!, Michael Flomenhaft, in discussing O.J. Simpson’s culpability, anticipated the controversy now surrounding Aaron Hernandez. According to professors J.Amy Dillard and Lisa A. Tucker in their Opinion featured in The New York Times, “Is C.T.E. a Defense for Murder?” dated September 22, 2017, Aaron Hernandez’s stage 3 C.T.E is to blame for the first-degree murder.  They argue that lawyers should show juries, why their clients, especially football players are unable to conform their conduct and control their emotional impulses.
