Konstantin Yelisavetskiy is a highly experienced trial attorney, having handled a multitude of civil and criminal cases in a wide variety of contexts. He received his Bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from CUNY Baruch College-Zicklin School of Business. He then received his J.D, cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, where he was honored as a Paul Fuller Scholar and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award for his work with the Unemployment Action Center, the Fordham Criminal Defense Clinic, and the Brooklyn and Queens District Attorney’s Offices. He began to hone his trial skills at Fordham’s Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center, where he competed and won honors in various regional and national trial advocacy competitions.
Konstantin began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where he handled a wide array of cases including violent crimes, hate crimes, domestic violence, and white collar crimes. One of his most rewarding experiences was securing a hard-won trial conviction of a defendant who assaulted an unsuspecting victim, causing severe traumatic brain injury.
Prior to joining The Flomenhaft Law Firm, PLLC, Konstantin was an associate at one of the nation’s largest plaintiff’s firms, where he represented victims of cancer and various other illnesses caused by exposure to toxins in consumer products. There, Konstantin obtained tremendous experience handling products liability, design defect, and failure to warn cases, among others. He tried many challenging multi-faceted cases, regularly securing significant monetary awards.
Konstantin is currently an Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at Fordham University School of Law, where he teaches trial strategy, procedure, and the law of evidence.
