Mr. Laub specializes in the management and trial of complex civil litigation matters including, among other things, general liability, premises liability, commercial litigation, medical malpractice, products liability and insurance matters.
Mr. Laub has represented a wide variety of individual clients, as well as corporations, municipalities, hospitals, hotels and unions. He has represented these clients in serious, high exposure cases, not only regarding all sorts of catastrophic personal injuries (some of which have arisen from claims of sexual and other types of aggravated assaults; security violations; mechanical operation defects; motor vehicle claims; recreational equipment defects; food poisoning; and crime-related injuries); but also regarding design and construction defect claims and other forms of high value property loss. Many of these matters have involved considerable media coverage.
Mr. Laub’s experience is not limited solely to litigation. He has experience managing a Workers’ Compensation, Social Security and Disability Benefits Practice Group. He also has experience negotiating and drafting commercial transactions, as well as expertise in handling disciplinary matters brought against public employees pursuant to the New York Civil Service Law §75.
Mr. Laub is a graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from C.W. Post College of Long Island University. Mr. Laub has lectured and presented mock trials before various groups regarding different litigation-related subjects.
